Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for many years. The actor is best popular for the roles he was in "Law and Ordinance Special Victims Unit". Since his college days Meloni became interested in the field of acting. After that, he attended The University of Colorado at Boulder. His television characters have earned him plenty of popularity. He's been able to easily play characters who are from both sides of law, and captivate the viewers' focus. In his very first TV show, he was the role of a serial killer. Then, he played the role of an NYPD investigator. In recognition of his performance in the small screen, he's been nominated many times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards. His most attractive facial feature is believed to be his piercing blue eyes, which are considered to be a trademark and have aided in depicting rough characters with charisma. He was named on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
