Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette has been an American actress, performer and children's author. Her birth was in 1948. In a career that has spanned over five decades, she's appeared in musical theatre movies and television and has also performed as a solo artist and recording. She's been nominated for seven Tony Awards and won two and eight Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards were won for four Broadway casting albums, where she was a part of the cast. Peters started her career on stage when she was a child, and then at the age of a teenager in 1960s. The 1970s were when she started acting in movies and TV. The public praised her for this first work, as well as her roles on The Muppet Show The Carol Burnett Show as well as in various TV shows and also for her roles in films such as Silent Movie The Jerk Pennies from Heaven and Annie. In the 80s, she returned to the theatre which made her one of the top-respected Broadway stars over the next three years. Her singles have been released as well as numerous cast albums and performs regularly in as a solo act in concert.
